The Meaning of the Name

This is my two paragraph essay for final exam of Public Speaking subject.

I like the topic, so I post them here.

Hi! My name is Thea Fathanah Arbar. I was born on December 21, 1994. In Greek, Thea means Goddess; godly, gift of God. In mythology, Thea is the Greek goddess of light. She’s the daughter of Ouranos (heaven) and Gaia (earth), the wife of Hyperion (Titan god of light), and mother of Helios (the sun), Eos (the dawn), and Selene (the moon). In French, Thea means Princess. But, according to my Mom, Thea is just ‘Thea’. My Mom chose this name simply because when I was born, our neighbor's daughters were named Dhea and Ghea.

In Islam, Fathanah (or Fathonah) is one of the characteristics of the Prophet which means intelligent, smart, bright, and clever. Arbar is my family name, stands for Abdur Rachim bin Abdur Ronny, my grandfather's name from my Dad's side. So, Thea Fathanah is an intelligent princess/goddess of God's creation.

I was a bit narcissistic when writing this essay, but yeah, this is the meaning of my name.
